The reason you got so many complaints from the community about the paragons skill "Incoming" was because of the amount of people who play elementalists that were unhappy they had to make use of one player slot on their team to counter them and couldnt wipe out whole teams in 10 seconds with the new overpowered skills released with Nightfall. Many people dont like change and having to learn new ways of doing things and also the fact that "Incoming" was slowing their fame farming with the new, exploited skills.
Let me get this straight...youve introduced "searing flames" with Nightfall and the paragon needs correction?
The paragon skill "Incoming" was the best skill idea you guys ever had to stop people that use single classes in heros ascent from exploiting and encouraged better teamplay tactics. This also encouraged the usage of other classes that werent commonly used because they werent as overpowered as some. You still have tons of people exploiting hitting one skill button to win and this needs to be adressed.
Alot of people obviously, by their attitude towards them in game simply dont like paragons and want to make a mockery of them.
Dont take my word on any of this to see that its true, just observe whats going on in your game in heros ascent.
I would have emailed you this to support but the one time in 18 months of playing this game i reported 1 bug in the game i was emailed back by your staff saying that i should place my comments about the game on a fan site that you guys check
Arena Net please fix this
Grasping Darkness

well according to some in the community, Incomming was FIXED in this update.
Maybe if you shout loud enough or get your entire alliance and friends to call for a Searing Flames "fix" as well, who knows you may just have your way too.
In case you think i support this nerf, i dont.
then again...dont think this thread will live long enough before it gets closed.

SF doesnt need a fix
You can:
-bring stances that reduce elemental damage
-spread!!!
-strip their attunements
-interrupt them
-deny their energy (back as a valid strategy now with EF splattered)
-probably some more things you can do.
To counter the Incoming builds you could:
-use vocal minority hex and /pray the paragons don't run with expel hexes/divert hexes.
-bring a spirit that didnt really stop a paragon.

I think the update was a neccessary thing, especially due to the holding buildings in HA, but i still would have prefered if they had simply made more counters to it, especially some handy mesmer skills would have been nice, that would have help boost there numbers killing 2 birds with 1 stone

Obviously "spreading out" can be a part of any build but countering two paragons with one shout that recharges longer than it stays on a target is a valid counter. I never got that, VM isn't good at all unless you're running a hex build because then (if they're not stupid they'll run it) they'll take off VM w/ Divert.
And @ the OP, the problem w/ INCOMING!! was the incoming chains where 17 out of every 20 seconds the opposing team took 50% less damage. I believe it had more of a problem in GvG because of long ass VoD's (I don't GvG i just hear about the stuff )
