I want to get to that skill trainer and pick up a couple, esp. Conviction, and I was wondering if there is a way to get there ala running or if I have to go through missions to open up that location. Thanks.

Do it the easier way. go earn 1k faction unlock conviction and then it will be sold at every single skill trainer for your account.

i agree with cyril that is by far the easiest way win 5 times with super win (cant remember the name and u will have 1k)
