I am just suggesting that GWguru members meet up for christmas in their respective locations for a party - or at least a night out.

You've got a great idea there, but if you don't mind, I'd like to punch a huge hole in it.
The one issue, I think, that you'd have with getting the guru members together for beers is that inevitably one would get way too drunk and start ranting and raving about some ludicrous subject (like that one class is far superior to another or that one skill doesn't make sense) and there would be a huge argument and a fight. Maybe that's just my opinion as an American, but that's the only thing I can foresee happening at a party based on a game.
Other than that, I'd definitely join you if I was in London ;p
