Same, as much as I love Guild Wars I did not think Factions was GoTY material, but that's just me.

Uh grats on proving just how bad the judges are for GOTY. Well I guess this means a GOTY Factions coming out soon... Tbh the only part of Factions I enjoyed was the last few missions.

I've never understood the Factions forum hate. Every bit as good as the other two games, IMO. Better in some ways.

Now the question becomes whether or not they will release a GOTY edition of Factions like they did Prophecies....

I bought the Prophecies GOTY just for the weapons and would buy a Factions one too.

Yet WoW still has over six million subscribers... people just cheer for GW because it's an "underdog", but WoW will always be #1 in terms of sheer content and popularity.

Same here, people just like to mimic what the "elite" around he babble on about. I don't think most people who say they hated factions can actually provide a rational explanation for why. Factions was awesome, not my favorite, but I definately liked it better than Nightfall.

And to whomever complains too much about Factions(for reasons other than personal favoritism, I just prefer prophecies), I guess it shows how much Anet spoils us that we can complain so much about a game that still won game of the year.

You are forgetting China, Some 2.5 billion people there.

But seeing as only the top 10-15% have a computer - let alone a home, I havbe no idea how amny people will get in on GW, thus raising the Number of players.
