Anet please remove/move this stupidly placed mob of creatures.

If you leave the exit from "gate of fear" into the "domain of pain" in the RoT, your ambushed the second you step out and you stand no chance.

Your quaranteed alteast one level of dp before your even 1 second out of the portal.

The staggering amount of LAG in the RoT just adds to it. By the time the LAG has calmed down and you can actually see whats happening, half your team is dead.

Its bad enough we have some areas with mobs right next to res points, but this is frustrating and can easily be fixed by moving their position outside of the castle.

Please dont put mobs next to res points or directly outside of towns and cities, especially when its in a place which is highly vulnerable to LAG.

Im on broadband and my connection is more then fast enough. My PC is more then capable of handling the game. Even my laptop can hadle it.

I just seem to always get very very very bad lag when leaving towns in the ROT, and if you have mobs directly outside who can get agro'd before you even materialise, its frustrating cos your reduced to -dp and half your team is dead before you load the area.

I have less than 1Gb of ram, after some our, the cahce goes amd and the first battles get lagged, or even freezed for seconds.

Anemies near doors should be a bit easier to let the game load the skills.

Shrines are meant to be a place to resurrect, recover and try again, nt the place where createures are waiting for you to drop you to 60death penalty.

Ok, 60 death penalty, I go to nearest outpost, exit again, and get the same

My system specifications are over the requirements, I have the options under the 'autodetect settings', more than enough free space, a completely contiguous gw.exe and I defrag every nih. Yet I still have 'load lag' after map travels.

If they can't fix that, they should at least add the game a way so you can safely load the skills and effects before the main figths, not during it.

I think they definitely should fix things like this, entering anywhere with DP in the RoT is just a setup for failure. Talk about skill...

The mob just needs to be moved away from the spawn point slightly.

As it currently is, it's a matter of luck. I just tried exiting into the Domain of Pain ten times, and standing around for 30 seconds each time to see if they aggro'd. Nine times out of those ten, the monsters never came close enough to aggro me if I didn't move.

/signed for moving them back, /notsigned for taking them out entirely.

Isn't that mob related to a quest?

I have no idea, I just know that one quest will spawn lots of mobs which end up camping at the res shrine, and from memory, that quest is one of the ones with a warning on it that says its hard. Should be fine if you drop it?

The only quest I have for that location so far is the master quest "Bad Fortune." It starts there right outside the door.

But as mentioned, at times you can emerge outside only to be met by the mob attacking you.

Their too close.

I got killed twice today in the domain of Pain.
Finally, in the third try, they spawned far enough so I could cast a coule of spells, and done, no problem.

Not, I'm not noobish. I could do nothing, since they where attacking me while I was loading koss survived enough to resurrect two of our horoes, but we were already around 30 death penalty.

If someone hits you with a bat while you sleep, are you weak because you can't defend? Nope. Of course not. This is more or like the same.

A margin must be added so you can react. Conection, Descompression and loading is not instant, but the setting of the area in the servers is much faster.
