After the Paragon nerf, i noticed there's a somewhat broken attutude of many player towards this game. Infact, instead of using the brains to counter a somehow effective character or build, the first thing most PvPers do is to log in into some GW forum and whine about overpowered skills and such. Paragon could be countered in many ways, with well of silence (that can't be removed), a well protected Vocal Minority hex, energy denials with mind wrack, adrenaline punishers (like Visions of Regret)... But no, instead of making antiparagon builds, the first thing that it has to be done is whine on how they're overpowered.
I know that the nerf will strike down the Ele as well, throwing this class again in the role of support class instead of massive damage dealers, because of many people crying about Searing Flames. But this is not right, especially because PvE players (and occasional PvPers) who don't have the time to play 10 hours a day to unlock all professions or to gain tons of fame get all their gaming investments broken down from these nerf updates.
I'm not begging Anet for not nerfing anymore, I'm asking you players to think more and whine less.
Thanks.

okay to go against what you just said...

Well of Silence - requires a dead body
Vocal Minority at bottom of hex stack - Convert/Purge Sig/Divert
E-Denial - effective, but that's why i carried a negative set on my para
Visions of Regret - when's the last time you saw a guild run this in GvG?

There are so many reasons why this nerf needed to happen if you played any amount of PvP, and seriously, if you can't use search to find them you can just kiss off. Your argument that people should be making "antiparagon builds" isn't a very good one because that's requiring the build to counter one specific threat, channeling your team's resources to remove one or two paragons out of the equation that may or may not even be in the game. To me, it just seems to me like you're unwilling to accept the fact that it was overpowered and that for once, forum ragers were correct.

And a SF nerf would actually benefit PvE (not that I want it to happen, I like SF as it is) - The Hidden City is loaded with so many Ruby Djinn spamming SF you get ass raped if you're not paying attention.

Whining about whining is fairly stupid, and there have already been several threads closed for the same reason. Go find a discussion thread about paragons, the update, or Searing Flames. Closed.
