Skill cost reset
Elena
hear me out
everytime a new chapter arrives we get a bunch of new skills and maybe some new proffesions in order to test these new skills or professions to there full we need money to buy the skills so we can try out different builds
now what i'm thinking would be fun to do is to reset skill cost (everytime a new chapter is applied to an account) to someting like 100 allowing youre existing chars to buy some fun new skills without burning a hole in there pocket

I actually like this idea. Maybe have it be something like...
In every major city of each continent, there is a quest that resets the cost of skills bought.

Yeah, I am only 16 elites away from all 291 elites, and I can't help but feel like it's so pointless as a Me/D because of all the Mysticism skills I have, and also because I have no non-elite skills at all from the dervish or paragon profession. Pretty sad and worthless. Why can't we just get the skills upon ascension or something, otherwise no one would ever get the chance to explore and make new builds since it costs an arm (1 plat) and a leg (1 skill pt) to ever try something new. And what do you know, it ends up being used once and wasted. Whoo...

Skill points are not a problem.
But as the game goes on, new players are entering, and less loot is falling from creatures due to farmers.
For the sins of some, the new players have to suffer the nerf, and there are more and more skill thei'l neve buy. Even if you buy the skill unlocks,
I thing the new players have the same rights the older ones have.
A bit of tweaking to help them have some more skills and cacth the rest would be good.

I agree with Kai Nui (if i understood him correctly), that u should get all skill that u have unlocked, after finishing some quest or something like that.
But to get back on topic:
/signed, but i would prefer that u could get all unclocked skill or enough skill quests that would give u at least 70% of all non elite skills

One possible sollution would be to give a quest reward at the battle isle for chars that had completed the final mission in any campain. This would allow that char access to any secondary skill (unlocked in the players account) for any secondary profesion that char has unlocked.
This is more than fair when you concider like many others ive got 8 chars x 9 secondary proffesions x 75+ skills!! thats a lot of K and skill points!

Yup, making free to purchase (but not availabe until getting to that trainer) for the secondary profession all the non-elite skills your have already unlocked should be enough.
You want the full set of non-elite skills for your secondary mesmers? You make a mesmer and unlock them all.
You want a skill that is not already unlocked for your secondary? You pay for it.
Capturing skill to gte them befre you get to that trainer would cost signets anyways, so It just would be a litte help to save a bit of cash, and people would buy more character slots, since they'll don't have to spend so much for some skill.
Skills for the primary should still take cash independantly of you having unlocked them or not.

For most of my chars, I dont have any problem with skill points (almost all of them have at least 50+ unused skill points) but I almost never have money to buy skills just to try to come up with new builds or sometimes even make builds I've already used on pvp chars
EDIT
I like that idea. After you beat one of the games, then that char has access to all the skills you've unlocked for your secondary professions! That would be really, really nice.
