I tried my extremely high armor build in DoA and ended up with 60 DP within the first 2 groups. In DoA groups most of their damage comes from armor ignoring or armor pen attacks.

So I am beginning to work on a build designed for the Domain of Anguish.

This is what I go so far.

Chilling Victory.
Lightbringers Gaze
Vow of Silence {E}
Faithful Intervention
Solder's Defense
"Watch yourself!"
Healing Signet
Sunspear Rebirth Sig

Mystisism: 12+1+1
Scythe: 10+1
Tactics: 8

Insigna: I suggest +10 while enchanted because almost all the time you'll have Vow of Silence up.

This build uses Vow of Silence to eliminate the Magnorite's most powerful spells (like invoke lightening) from destoying you. Basically put Faithful up before anything happens and just before the magnorites come to cast spells use Vow of Silence.

Beware of Rangers they still can deal a high amount of damage to you if you don't have solder's Defense up. Warrior can pack a punch too but they can't use Crushing Blow as much without gale .

Now I need help developing this build so feedback is wannted and appreciated.

Wow of Silence... How are the healers supposed to heal you then?

Edit: Ok now I'm going to try using Obs Flesh

Chilling victory
Lightbringer's Gaze
Faithful Intervention
Obs Flesh {E}
Armor of Earth
Conviction
Sig of Pious Light
Sunspear Rebirth Sig

Scythe: 11+1+1
Earth Magic: 9
Earth Prayers: 8+1
Mystisism: 8+1

Same basic idea however you have to account that your not immune to spells all the time. Also since your enchantments slow you down if your party signal a retreat because a 2nd group is coming then you need to use Sig of Pious Light twice to get rid of your enchantments and run.

Or how about getting a Monk to cast Spell Breaker on you as well?

Vow of silence works well, and yes you can still be healed via monk signets. I find the Lions comfort is a better heal choice that Healing signet, less drawback for using it. It heals based on both strength and Tactics attribute so youll still get a nice heal out of it and earning the adren is easy.

While Obsidian Flesh is an alternative you cant keep it up all the time. With VoS you can but you need to time your enchants around it and you will have a small window of vulnerbility.

Keep in mind this build will only work for certain maps in DoA, the touchers will still eat you alive!
