Henchmen in the Gate of Anguish.

This suggestion is more than likely going to be flamed to death but here goes.

I propose that Anet allows the use of henchmen within the Gate of Anguish.

Now before you all freak out the henchmen should only be allowed for the quest not the elite mission itself. This way you can effectively keep both sides somewhat happy

I would have said that the quests where not in fact the mission rather the assault on Mallyx the Unyielding's ebony fort was the mission where as the quests were just the build up to it.

Can you do the mission without doing the quests? No, you can't. So therefore you can say that the quests are the mission.

Also, how hard is the acutal mission?

No one has made it to the actual mission because the quests are that hard! Poetic irony...

Although, it may not be an official Elite Mission, i.e. "Enter Mission," since there's an entrance to the Ebony Citadel of Mallyx that you can see near the city of Tor'Cue.

I'm willing to bet that the actual mission is just going to be:

Kill Mallyx the Unyeilding

With maybe one or two groups of 12 in the way...

I think if this is one of the few areas in NF where people can't avoid playing with each other, that is a good thing.

Considering what happens to heroes in the Domain of Anguish (and, take it from me, it isn't pretty), henchmen probably wouldn't help.

Both my groups with on other play and heroes have made it further than the PUG's I tried, the heroes had most of the caster totally shutdown.

Then I sit corrected. Mine were normally going down in a matter of seconds - that said, I've only tried twice so far, and I don't remember them having many casters, so I may have been in a different zone.

Which area were you having this success in?

The city area, may just be luck but setting teh anti caster to target the caster allows usto deal with the meele with out to much trouble

I totaly disagree with you on the quote!!. You want to tell me that the 2 distinct "PRIMARY QUESTS" that take you from Gates of Pain to Gates of Madness is actually part of the Gates of Madness Mission???

I think not, but if you do see it that way then is Gates of Pain and Gates of Madeness actually 1 mission?? or is it 2 missions split by some quests ???

Well that goes for almost all the Missions in Elona where you needed to do a Primary Quest to get to the next Mission Location.

I got to the Gates of Madness by just farming LB points before I actually did the primary quest, and untill I actually did the Primary Quest I could not do Gates of Madness mission.
