Since almost all of the threads posted recently have people complaining and moaning about things they DONT like, heres a thread for the others!
Post and discuss everything you LOVE about Guild Wars; any chapter, anything at all.

How the lions and lionesses (and cubs) fight in packs in Elona (Barborous Shore)
The extremely random talks at Marhan's Grotto

The view from the top of Anvil Rock

The clothes Headmaster Amara wears
How Gwen manages to pop up in almost every conversation about evil stuff
Haloween Wicked Hats

The background music in Kourna
The style and 'regalness' of mesmer armor

How animals grow as you level them after they are tamed
The vastness of the Jade Sea
The sound after a skill has been interrupted

I love dazing casters in PvE. They just keep trying to cast, and every spell, even 1/4 second cast, gets interrupted.

duo UWing when we finally get favor
farming IDS and having mesmers and necro avicara follow you into the cave then die.
sitting in pre listening to all the weird convos
same with the grotto
getting drunk
playing rings of fortune
being a bunny thumper in PvP >

monking in FOW
getting a gold item from a chest when everyone else gets purple

Oh, and killing gwen in Pre to get the secret Cap Sig.

I love helping a pug through a difficult mission.

I love helping guildies and allies.

I have a few close friends that I love doing anything in the game with - it's always fun.

I love getting an unexpected gold drop during a quest or mission.

I love getting up at around 4 or 5 in the morning and taking the few people in Thunderhead Keep through the mission and bonus using henches with my Warrior. -my fav mission

Hooray for more positive threads ^^

The scenery in Elona. :) The contrasting colours in some of those areas... red sand, lush green trees, sparkling blue pools, not to mention whatever colour the sky happens to be! It's a very beautiful campaign (well, until you get to the places that are meant to be darker ;) ).

'Pride Rock' in The Falls (Prophecies). People who've seen it know what I'm talking about. :D

Oooh, and Holdings of Chokhin, where the minotaurs are. Those sparkly blue lights! I love that area. Sooo pretty.

Music. I particularly like how it changes when you enter combat.

Mesmer armour. :D

Ritualists. ^^

The humour in the Nightfall storyline and sidequests, and the little easter eggs sprinkled about the place.

The friends I've met through the game. :)

Things I love about Guild Wars...

The lack of monthly subscription fees
The originality of some of the professions (the ones you don't find in other games at all)
The huge number of different profession and skill combinations so you can always play the game on your own terms
The armor designs (although I have to say that the male warrior's man-bra is a bit suspicious)
The game's soundtrack (Jeremy Soule is a creative genius!)
Hardly any lag to worry about (in my experience so far, at least)
Watching PvP through observer mode to pick up playing tips from players who are way better than I am
The reaction from dead wammos who only ask about my monk's build after they die and I don't rez them immediately (my monks smite and have little patience for suicidal team members who have never heard of pulling)

Several other things I love about the game too... But those are the things that sprang to mind first

I used to farm Sunspear promotion points there and there only, just because of the lights

The pride rock, i saw it once but i dont know where it is now in the falls

but it was one of the nicest places ever

what i liked best about guild wars was the music and melancholy of the Jade Sea. it was my favorite destressing place in game in all the three chapters.

it's a pity they messed up the ai.

-Hench and heroes (to escape the demanding or emo players)
-Making minions out off party members

i love:

- the funny abaddon dancing easter egg (You Got Served!)
- the music throughout the game (Kryta is my favorite)
- all the other funny things in NF (3 stooges, various shout names taken from pop culture, the fake play about the searing, etc)
- rangers in general
- alliance battles
- actually getting a decent drop (maybe a dozen in 17 months, o well)
- the picturesque setting of presearing

for the most part things other people love about the game too

the fact that it is 5am here and there are still people to play with on line at this wonderfully early hour......
ele armor (well most of it)
my rit and her california girl hair style
the fact I only had to pay for it once instead of everymonth (ok every 6 months, but it still is a one-time thing....) and my hubby and I can enjoy this (and sometimes even get his brother online as well for a guild party).
killng things and not going to jail for it.....smashing insects and not having to clean up afterwards....etc
riding in wurms----what can I say, I like to kill things while in wurm form that kill me as a mesmer.

One thing I really quite like about GW is the areas around the Kodash Bazaar are just like the town. It's nice to have some civilised areas in the game that are not in a town or outpost.

The comradeship of my Guild. We used to play Day of Defeat as a squad but sadly the updated source version killed our interest. Now however the PVE of Guildwars allows us to get back the teamwork we sorely missed trying to find a game that met our needs

For me thats what makes this game so great. (Well that and facing Abbadon for the first time

)

For right now its domain of anguish. for most its dead on arrival lol
So much fun running for my life being last alive just getting the res off soon enough for party recovery. rt/w with sprint :P
On the edge of my seat having loads of fun there. Finished 1/4 of mallyx quest!
