i bought factions today after playing nightfall for a while. i chose to make an assasin since i really really love to put the hurt on people. i would really like to find out what a good spike build is. something like a monk killer or that can tear thru people. i dont really mind if i die just as long as i take 1-2 with me. also a list of chain combos would be very helpful. thanks!

this is what i use in ab and kills anything fast.....just monitor your surroundings while choosing and fighting a target as youll easily get killed by more than 1 person.

skills-expose defenses, shock, falling spider, twisting fangs, palm strike, death blossom, dash, shadow refuge.
use it in that order...dash and shadow refuge when necessary.

Yanman.be
A pretty overpowered combo, but nothing else ( survival, debuffs etc. ) would be the Yanssassin. Search for it on the boards, or watch the videos here: www.putfile.com/yanman (should be several videos about it ). Also, these vids are pre-buff Moebius Strike, now it recharges in 2 seconds, making endless combo's pretty cool ( hoto ms hoto ms etc. )
Be warned: All it gives you is a pretty high dps, and 4 kd's.
There's also an A/Me variation, wich uses Web of Disruption(Nightfall campaign ) instead of Shock ( Prophecies ). If you only have Factions, consider taking Gale.

Decent combo that I have found works pretty well and does good spike dmg is:
Expose defences, Mantis strike, Black spider strike, Critical Strike, Moebius strike, Critical Defenses, Shadow refuge, Rez.
Good defence, and healing, with really fast and High dmg, lay on your cripple and poison, and go at them with CS and MS over and over, some nasty dmg from that combo. I have 16 in Critical, and 11 in dagger, and I think it's 7, and 7 in Shadow and Deadly, that's something you can play with yourself though, I've used 9, 9, and 9, in them before, not as much dmg though, just longer lasting Expose defence and better Shadow refuge. Try it out, works well for me.

what about if your dont have prophicies (which i kno for a fact he doesnt).
Whats a good damage/survivability build that doesnt revolve around having a skill from prophicies?
Also if you could incorporate some form of shadow step. I have found its very useful to just be able to shadow step in, spike, and get the heck out ASAP.
