Well i was playing around with my mesmer today and i noticed a cool skill to accompany E-Surge and based on the skill description it should work against any spell ever

however i've noticed that Mistrust has failed to activate on enchantment spells, am i just crazy or is this really a glitch, or are Enchantments not considered "spells"?

The skill is written in the perspective of the foe;
Their foes = your allies, so it triggers when they cast spells that target your allies. They can't target your allies with enchantments, so by definition, it won't work with enchantments in their current incarnation.

Ah ty for clearing that up, so even enchants that cause damage upon their casting (mainly dervishes) will not activate the skill? hmm okay next time i need to read better

Dervish Enchantments that cuase Dmg or conditions on their end do not "Target" any foe, they effect anyone in the radius around the dervish.

Only skills that specifically state "Target Foe" in its Spell description line will be affected by this skill. Meteor Shower, for instance, should trigger Mistrust.
