Can someone confirm this pet-lvling rumor?

If you let an animal kill you over and over again by camping at a res shrine, does it really level up to dire? I feel like capping a croc, but don't feel like goin through the whole dire-lvling again

Can someone confirm if this type of lvling is possible?

oooo, sweet.....looks like my ranger is gonna be capping BiP.

3 uses, a few hits from the pig = dead. Tested on my nec, he lvl'd to 6 fast.

EDIT: I just thought of somethin o_o What if 3 heroes all brought BiP, were disarmed, and let an animal kill them and myself? I've been BiP'ing the shrine guard and could easily get the heroes to do the same. It'll be like the animal was killing 4 lvl20's.

i think they may have fixed that to where you can't level your pet like that anymore

Last time I checked, you can still do that...not perfectly sure though
