Does anyone else find it odd that only Heroes get some of the coolest armor in the game? I'm curious if the majority of other players wish that the certain Hero armor was available for us instead.
The Ritualist hero has very cool Ritualist armor.. better than either of the Elona armor that is available. I also think that General Morgan has cool Paragon armor that would be a nice addition.
I just find it weird because would we want to be more pimped out than our Heroes? What Hero armor do you wish you could have for yourself? Any thoughts?

man i went nuts when i saw how detailed to ranger henchmen sunspear armor is, tattoos all over the shoulders and stuff.
same with the other henchmen and heros.
they already did that with prophecies =( the white mantle mantle had such cool armor and we get some dumb platemail with a pig

I don't see why people keep saying this. They can't be dyed and with the exception of a few, they're pretty much rehashes of armors we can already buy. And the uniques ones aren't that stellar either imho.

well "coolest" is subjective.
Razah has some cool armor, and id love a version for my Rit, but it wouldnt work as good, cause his helmet is designed to tuck over his hair, whereas the player version would remove hair completely, ruining the "look".
Their armors are "customized" but hardly the coolest armor.

The textures in some armor are far more detailed than the player's

you would have to compare it to your own and not another player in town. in town the armour details of other players is scaled down considerably (try standing next to someone with the same armour and you'll notice the difference). Most of the heroes started out with different armour than you could get anyway (look at Koss) so it is understandable the upgraded armour would be different.

The Primeval armor should have been what we got at the end of the game.

Because Anet like Heros more than players, If Heros could Buy GW copies, they did make the whole game for them too without us in the picture.
Hero >> Human players. That the impression i am getting these days since Heros outperform most PuGs in PvE these days.
Hence from the point above Heros have better armour than our character, as do half of the NPC in the game.

Of course coolest is opinion.. but I was saying what is your opinion. Frankly the armor in DoA for Heroes makes me even want their armor even more.. the dervish and monk and necro.. wow... (there are pics in the Elona fourm if you haven't seen them.)
