Ok, I scan highend forums everyday and a few weeks ago I saw someone selling a Feathered Longbow that had nothing on it at all, it was Req13 and was gold lettering, thats it. I know anet fixed the bug of that happening, but this guy was asking a rediculous ammount for it. Now it could of been a joke but thats why im price checking this bow. Now, I know ppl love rare things but like I said I wasnt sure if the bow posted previous was a joke or not. Anyways this is the bow I got last night doing DoA quests. Here it is and thanks to all that pc it.

Naah gold items without dmg mod aren't so rare. They seem to drop when one least wants 
If the item is in level of crystalline sword, dwarven axe etc. then you might get something even if it doesn't have any mods.
Feathered longbow on the other hand is common skin so I'm afraid salvaging would be my advise here.
