DoA FoTM.

We all know the DoA FoTM: GC+Winter+Mantra of Frost.

I, however, don't know why people don't just use GC+Mantra of Fire+Ward Against Harm (+80 against fire, anyone?).

Discuss. Yes, WAH is a hard elite to cap, but then again so is GC O_o.

My paragon has GC..... gg? Ward against harm is fine but its elite / takes a spot for something else and that combo doesn't reduce elemental dmg that is not fire.

My guess is the range on GC is greater

From what I can see, GC only converts physical damage to fire damage. It does nothing to convert existing elemental damage to fire. Thus, the GC Winter Mantra does more than your suggested change. Your suggested change does use require two elites, which means less flexibility for the party.

Still, good idea if you choose to take a water ele.
