Character Changing!

Any one ells here exremily anoyed with Having to log out of you're game each and every time you want to get onto your other characte! Could Anet simply have a option to go back to you character select menu?
This would save time. I dont know if its not possible to somthing like that, but it sure doesnt sound like it to me.
I dont knwo abou tother people, but I've been thinking this since I first bought proph.

How's this?

Right click on your Guild Wars shortcut on your desktop. Put into the "target" area:

"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -email "your email" -password "your password"

What's with the "email" part, I dont have that and it works fine (however I have mine on remember account name or whatever, on the main game screen).

Also, I'm not sure you have that format right. For mine, it's -password=mypassword . No space, no quotes. Although maybe it works both ways?

No, my password is not "mypassword".

This method works great however though. When you log out of the game, it logs right back in to the char select screen.

I felt too nerdy when I tried that pw thing out.. I'd rather just type '*****' over and over.

As a sidenote, using the shortcut login, can actual make sure that noone can keylog your password (because you never type it in).
