Monk or Mezzie Fow?

Ok I've had this dilemma for awhile now, and have been randomly starting characters just to postpone my decision. Now I have to decide. Monk or mesmer fow? Im leaning towards the mesmer fow atm.

This is my current mesmer who I think would look very nice in mesmer FoW. I would jump at the chance ot get her fow, but getting groups and using my mesmer in PvE does not occur as much as using my monk. I'm also somewhat tired of mesmer skills atm. (excuse the weird face thing I screencapped mid blink and Idk how to get rid of the mask in the choose character screen for my mesmer, but thats the face she has)

This is my monk, Naughty Zebra. I normally wouldn't play the monkies, but she is soooooo cute that I can't help but play her. I like Monk FoW, though not as much as mes fow, but I'm not as attached to the armor as the nice looking mes armor. A solution I thought of was to get my monk 15k Ascetics dyed in black to match her name, Naughty Zebra.
I added 8/15k tats dyed black just for a comparison.

I most likely will base my choice on my own opinion, but would like to see others viewpoints to inspire my choice. Thanks. ^^

i think almost everyone who gets fOW gets monk fow.

get mesmer if u wanna be diffrent

get monk if you wanna be one of all those monks with fow (imo monk fow is kind of a waste, looks too plain and doesnt dye well, cuz only half of it is dyable) since almost every monk is wearing fow you wont stand out at all

if any of my toons gets fow its gonna be my baby rit ... just not atm

I only have Monk FoW, and I still say get the mesmer set... It just looks so damn good!

Well... now that I think about it... I do use my monk the most... I dunno, if you arent motivated to play a character, maybe fow isnt the best choice for it, unless you think it could revive the character...

I got fow for my monk purely because it was my enjoyed, and obsessively played character that I have... (oddly enough mine looks just like the one wearing the tattoos in the screenshot you borrowed :P)

im got fow for monk cuz its my main, and zebra matches tattoo armor more cuz of the name

Almost every single Female Mesmer I see has FoW armor, dunno if that matters, but just letting you know (and yes, I see HEAPS of them around). Monk FoW is pretty cool, I think Mesmer FoW doesn't really stand out (unlike Warrior/Nec/Ele).

Get mesmer fow, it just simply rocks.
