Ecks Dee to the Economy

This idea was actually taken from the Bounty Hunter thread. I realize a lot of people don't view this as a problem, but I also know a lot of other people that do. Suggestions would be great. Criticism on the topic would be useless but is always welcome.
The economy needs to be fixed! We're the players! We know our likes and/or dislikes! We know what we want to waste our money on! Surely if the community puts it's heads together, we can fix a problem that should be fixed?

My two cents: scaled loot. make it so that more loot drops for big parties and less for small parties, that way ppl will stop playing wammo to try and solo everything. help with party balance too. ive already reccommended this to anet tho...

Prices are unbalanced. farming is nerfed...bascially with the current state of the eco, the rich are staying rich while the poor are getting poorer...all is not well in GW land
Maika Boila Radovu
Prices for which objects are unbalanced?
And isnt no more farming a good thing?
As far as their being rich and poor, how much money do you consider a person needing to have to be rich vs poor?
Also of what benefit is their to being rich in this game?

rich= prestige armor. prestige armor= easier to get groups. i have just over 700k and i dont consider myself rich...imagine how those with 20, 30k are doing. prices are vastly unbalanced. some things like mat are stuipdly low, while other things are stuipdly high, like weapons.

What is the problem? Sorry but I don't trade and get involved with the economy, so I don't know. I play in full groups of 8 and sell all drops to the merchant, and I have no money problems. With the release of Nightfall I've actually been getting more money than usual, just from playing like this.

I'm on like 30k (main charcter only), this is my highest peak in money on guild wars.. ever.
I have no problem with the econmy because i have no use for it.
Because its too rich for me
But i dont have any problems with it, so i dont really care
Thats the view from a lower classer just if you wanted to know.

I think it has a lot to do with the way each plays throught the game.
When a campaign is released for example, some people make quite a bit of money, because they decide to farm first, and go through the campaign later (once prices have leveled), while most will go through the campaign first and farm later, but by then the items are not worth as much.
As I see it, everyone has the same possibility (random drops aside) to get as much gold as anyone else. There are solo builds for just about every profession, if you like that sort of thing. You can hench or group farm. I've always found regular quest loot to be enough to go through each campaign with each character, that is to buy the skills, armor, etc. Any farming gold goes to buy some vanity skin. If I want to get a little extra, I'll do the quests with fewer henchies, that way the gold loot is divided between less party members and I get a couple more drops.
I'm just not so sure that there is a problem that needs to be fixed. In my opinion giving allowances, which is what bounties inclined to, would hurt the economy. As is, you can get just about any weapon type (note I'm not refering to style) quite cheaply. The only thing that gets to be on the high end are vanity items (skins).

Perfect Mod weapons too. (imo)
I'd pay a decent sum (if i had it) to buy a perfect curses staff.

my Max gold ever was 40K, and I do fine in GW, I do have a farming method to make money, only when I need it(Hydra farming beastmaster). In fact, my PvE characters are rather well off, I got good equipment, good amror (some even dyed black and white), atleast 2 headgears for each and lots of elite skills(so I can play lots of builds). And all earned without having to do extreme farming methods.

And as a side note, I've never found the economy to be too unfair on me. Maybe that's because I usually go for the less popular professions, so the costs of runes and rarer crafting materials that I need for them is cheaper (more of them being sold off into the game's economy by other players because they're not wanted as much). I can see a problem for the people who play with the more popular professions as there's only ever so much to go round at once and prices can be more unpredictable, but in the end it's all just a matter of supply and demand. One possible idea could be for ANet to occasionally add a bit more supply for the things that more popular professions need, but never to oversupply to the point where the economy becomes flooded. Economies can crash as well as boom, after all.

I also am not rich, I only keep what I can use and sell the rest ( a lot of times I will give stuff away). But I do believe the economy is broken and needs fixed badly.

Okay, while not very many people have posted an idea to help stabilize the economy, quite a few of you have said it doesn't require assistance. Believe it or not, this is also great input. Let's try a different approach instead, and work from there?
If you believe the economy needs to be stabilized, say why you think so, and a couple of ideas you have (if any) to help correct the problem.
If you think the economy is quite content the way it is, post why you think so.
In the end, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. If most of the individuals on Guru thinks that the economy has a problem, then we should find a solution. However, if most of the community here thinks it's good as is, then a problem that is only a problem to some is not a problem at all. We're not catering to the minority here, after all.

Personally, I don't think that the economy needs fixing. It's all an issue of supply and demand - if something is plentiful, it's cheaper and if something is rarer or in higher demand, then it's more expensive.
One more idea that I'd like to add to this thread is the idea of ceiling prices - a maximum (and preferably realistic) price for something that cannot be increased over. There are already lower limit prices for things when you sell them into the economy, but as far as I've seen there's no upper limit when buying (correct me if I'm wrong about this). This wouldn't damage the economy too much in my opinion, and it might solve a few people's economic worries.

The only thing i could think of that would perhaps improve the economy would be to increase the money rewards from completing missions and making it vary more so the further into a game u are u more u get for the missions.
Also allowing for a smaller (than the previous suggestion) reward for every time you complete a mission after already having completed it, (this amount could also vary depending on either the master/expert/norm reward u have acheived on this mission) this would be nice so if u are helping a friend with a mission, u will still gain something from it and would make getting masters on missions more popular for people.
