What's the future of universal 10/10 staves?

We all know that after the introduction of the 20/20 universal HSR/HCT mods, all 10/10 staves became obsolete.

I know many players - including myself - that were disappointed from this change/update, call it whatever you want, so i am very interested to know if these weapons will just be collector items - if they are going to be upgraded or not - it has already happened in the past... so why not now

Damn I hate how my 10/10 Kaolin Wand is not perfect anymore. It has an awesome skin and it's perfect for my ritualist, well, it was. Now there are tons of other wands I'd use over it. I think they should make all weapons with universal 10/10 into 20/20.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there is no universal 20% casting and the universal 20% recharge only applies to staves, so the 10/10 wand should be unaffected by all of this. All 20% cast/recharge mods on wands are tied to an attribute. And as for upgrading the old staves I don't think it is possible or would be extremely time consuming as there probably isn't a flag or something that ties all gold staves that have those mods together. The only items that they have retroactively changed have been greens and collectors items to my knowledge.

Yeah, I agree with Zerulus about wands. I don't know about the code and the process needed to upgrade "old" staves - but i think they should give it a try since many players have invested a lot in order to find/buy them.

my poor Morgriffs staff and scepter that both suffer from 10/10 syndrome, Anet really should update these like they have to there other weopons of the game ie. upgrading all the furious mod greens etc. (i think anet favors the wammo here)

Greens, crafter and collectors received the update. Your Morgriff's should be fine. Wands were not affected. They are the same as they've always been. 10/10 dropped staves did not receive an automatic update.
