With a non prophecies character are the only choices to level through the whole campaign or pay an obscene fee to a runner?.
Or is it possible to get it from Snake Dance with a 6 man group from beacon?.

I'd say you also want all six in the group to be 20th level characters if possible. But that's a fun trip if you've never done it. 1. Run from Lion's Arch to Sanctum Cay. The entire run will take you less than 30 minutes, and you can easily do it with henchmen.
2. Complete the Sanctum Cay mission. Insanely easy.
3. Hire a runner to take you to all three desert missions and Augury Rock. That should cost you about 2K total.
4. Do the three desert missions. You should be able to complete them all in less than an hour, total time.
5. Beat your doppleganger in Augury Rock. Takes 2 minutes.
6. Do Dragon's Lair mission. Takes about 45 minutes.
7. Go from Droknar's to Ice Caves of Sorrow. Complete Ice Caves mission - takes about 30 minutes.
8. Now you're at Iron Mines of Moladune, and you can cap SS.
Total time elapsed - 3-4 hours, 2K spent.

If you have to had been there already whats the point?. You can just press map and teleport there instantly so why would you spend 15 minutes running to this guy.
If so, you can go directly to the desert and skip Sanctum via the 'secret' teleporter in the Crystal Overlook. I went there with my NF cha to have a look, the Guadian says he wont let me pass until I am familiar with the danger?.
