For PvP anyway

This coming weekend, there are two ways for you to double your PvP fun: You’ll receive double GvG Faction for unique kills, matches won, and flawless victories, plus you will get double Champion Points when both competing guilds have a rating of 1200+ on the Guild Wars Ladder. This Double Fun Weekend starts at Noon PST on Friday, December 8, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on Sunday, December 10.

Is it just me or is it generally on average they go splits? Like one double event for PvE then the next for PvP?

This is all fine and dandy for an event even though I dont really PvP myself -_-

probably the worst weekend ever. this is ruining the Champion Title, and the quality of GvGs being played.

PvE people start GvG -> even more noob guilds, quality guilds are getting bored facing idiots, probably stop for the weekend

those that dont and get lucky and earn some double Champ points..making the title a bit more useless. its supposed to be one of the "best" titles around, and its gonna put it down a bit.

double faction is nice, but no double champ points. >_<

oh btw, people finding this boring..go back to PvE and dont even bother posting kthx.

PvE players can make quality GvG/PvP players to, get off your high horse and stop making generalized statements. And newbs have to start somewhere, if you are so low on the ladder all you can face are newbs then you have no right posting that crap. Further more, IF they are that newb then it should take less than five for you to run overtop of their guild, grab your free faction, and go.

I won't even get into champ points as I just don't care that much about titles so...

I didn't like double fame and I don't like double champ points either. It's just cheapening the title.

As for faction... UAX + capped= don't care

What a perfect way to devalue champ points even worse... and of COURSE it has to happen the weekend before the ladder lock. GOODY!

Yes, because implementing a few lines of code for double whatever weekend every other weekend is obviously time consuming and keeps them from doing anything else.

Double Faction might help me Get more useless Nightfall crap (got all the decent skills).

Double Champ will probably make most of our GvG team Champion title holders (The guild has a whole has earned 12 victories towards it, some have less because they werent on when we earned some, some have more from guesting)

All I care about is splitting off and killing archers. Screw you guys at the flag stand. I'm going for the lord.

The Champion title, last one to have a real meaning is going down. Fierce Champion (2) will be common among those that didnt have even rank(1) and those that already had it will be 1 level higher.

And double faction isn't even funny, it's miserable. 2 x 0 = 0. Better give us a Faction spending event or we are staying at the cap forever... till chapter 4
