The idea is simple:
Now, when you want to play melee you have to go Warrior or Dervish. Other classes in melee won't work that well.
Whenever you want to do beastmaster, the only class wich is good at it, is the Ranger.
My idea is too add extra skills that would make it usefull too take other primaries for the attribute you choose. For example the Beastmaster, now to be a bit good you have to go for Ranger. However it would be nice to put some adrenaline beast skills in it, so also Warriors and Paragons are a nice class for beastmaster. Not worse, just different.
Add some warrior skills that aren't very good on a warrior primary, however are when used with a caster. In this way you would add great diversity to classes, so alot more can be done.
Also you can add that effect by adding skills in the primary attribute that don't are really valueable to that class, furthermore for other classes. A nice (on purpose or not) example would be Explosive Growth and Boon on Creation for Rt/N minion Masters.
Just add some skills so Casters could go melee and otherwise. add skills so damage dealers can heal and otherwise. This will change alot so the current structure of: 1 Tank, 2 Healers, 1 Nuker and just one optional spot will be gone. An Earth Ele as tank, Ritualist and Ele as Healer and a Necromancer as Nuker.
More different skills

If you want to heal make a monk. If you want to be a beastmaster make a ranger. Let's not just give every profession every skill.

if yo0u do this then whats the point of having more than one class? anyway thats what second proffessions are for, healers can do rangering and rangers can do healing.

I always like the multi purpose use skills, or skill that could help in more than just one proffession. Apply Posion on Hammer (and not just on arrows) is one thing that got me hook on this game...
maybe give us some example skills?
(also.. uh.. caster could something do melee better than a warrior.. if their build is right....)

First of all, dervishes and warriors are NOT rangers. It doesn't make sense for them to be as good at beastmastery than a primary ranger. Putting in skills for your primary that are more specific to another class, rather than your primary, just doesn't make sense. Specialized skill-sets are the reason why there are so many professions to choose from. As soon as every profession can do the exact same things with the exacty same efficiency (physical attack, heal and use magic) then it just defeats the purpose of the primary profession. Why take rangers for interrupting and laying traps or monks for healing when a warrior and ele can do both just as well? It would just unbalance the game.
Multi-purpose skills are ok, and they're nice to use. But they tend to work equally for everyone, not just a certain profession combination. A ranger skill made for a warrior with adrenaline, on the other hand.... it just doesn't belong.
If you want a good beastmaster, make a ranger. Otherwise, deal with it. And don't even get me started on casters with melee-skills.....
