I really stink at pricing weapons, and did not see this skin listed under the "rare skins" category, though I've only seen it drop once in 16 months of having this game, and come up for sale a few times.
In any case, the stats of the axe are:
Sundering Morningstar Axe of Fortitude
Slashing Damage: 6-28 (requires 9 Axe Mastery)
Damage +14% (while health is above 50%)
Armor Penetration +20% (Chance: 20%)
Health +30
The stats are, as far as I know, nearly "perfect" for your run of the mill sundering/fortitude item. I remember seeing a lot of things like this go for 150k or better back in the day, but it's no longer back in the day, and I'm not familiar with the desirability of this skin.
If anyone could help I'd appreciate it very much! I'm looking to move this beast so that I can collect some money, since I'm a coin-grubbing little fiend myself :-)

14^50 morningstar axe has never gone for 150k~ I'm afraid. More in the 5k~ line.
I'd salvage for mods starting from 20/20 and then +30HP.

Rarity - or lack thereof - of the axe skin aside, surely the mods aren't that bad, and it would fetch some amount of money, given requirement, etc. as is? Any clues as to what that might be?
I ask only because, being a regular joe-schmoe myself, and knowing more joe-schmoes in the game than those who set aside the time to determine the rarity of the skin of an item before mods, I would figure that the skin itself - while common, apparently - would not stand in the way of a sale.
Just looking for some ball-park figures for the mods. I found it as is, so I won't lose money in salvaging, but I'd rather just leave the whole item in-tact and not risk the loss of one or more features for the sake of saving perhaps a single one

Okay let me explain once more.
No one will really want to buy the axe, it's junk.
You're better off buying an expert salvage kit and getting the 20/20 sundering at least. Then take off the 30hp. Otherwise someone might pay 15k to do the same thing. The axe is unpopular, hard to sell, and there are way too many other much nicer axes and such that someone would rather buy than spend money on that. As for mods there is a sticky at the top of the forum with the prices for those, which themselves have dropped majorly recently..
