why cant my monk heros maintain enchants

i'm not sure if its a bug or just the way anet made it but my monk heros cant maintain any enchantments other then blessed aura.as i have stated it may just be me but after testing in PvP and PvE with every maintainable monk enchant i have found that only blessed aura will even cast others just use the energy from casting but never actually cast. can anyone please tell if this is a game wide glitch/bug/hero skill balance or what have you. it would be greatly appreciated.

If you disable the enchantment first by holding shift and clicking on it you can have them cast it and maintain it.

I've seen some strange variation on how heroes handle enchantments. One guildmember that uses a bonding hero has had him successfully maintain up to around seven enchantments at once. Another guildmember has complained that his bonder will keep canceling enchantments when not in combat.
Myself, I don't run a bonder monk, but have seen a similar interesting effect. I have Zhed as a water elementalist and Sousuke as a fire elementalist. Both run with the [element] attunement and elemental attunement. I've watched as Zhed will keep both attunements up all the time, while Sousuke will only keep elemental attunement up, ignoring the other.
Don't know that that's particularly helpful, but my two cents.

Heroes automatically cancel maintainable enchantments when they're enabled. Make sure you shift click them off, then manually trell them to bond someone. They will keep it up as long as their energy can handle it. They even know how to use blessed signet ^^.

Shift click is an option, but it is a second-rate one. I find that micromanaging all my Heros makes it so I cant use any of MY skills.
Anet, plz give us some more advanced AI options, such as:
-Ability to mark skills "Always Maintain" (enchants and such)
-Make certain skills prioritizable or "Use this first/most often" (placing items leftmost in the skillbar does not really work - MM heros will Deathnova minions and stop making new ones)
-Make skills "use whenever available" (Blessed Sig)
-It would also be nice if we could chain skills: (Use skill 1, then use skill 2, then use skill 3, but dont cast 2 or 3 out of order)
-Use certain skills ONLY defensivly (Throw Dirt, Flame Burst, Vamp Touch seem to be Hero Suicide Skills)
-Use certain skills when attacks begin or upon initial aggro (Preperatons, some stances)
-Use certain skills only when attacking LARGE groups (Metor Shower, Binding Rituals)
-There are certain conditional skills or party skills that the AI also will not use correctly (Light of Diliverance, Heal Party)
