After Venta Cemetary

Hi,

I have a character created in the first version of GW (forgot what its called). I'm now trying to get that char through nightfall. After Venta I get to Kamadan and get stuck...don't see another mission. I've been reading that you're supposed to get "Council is called" from dockmaster whats-his-name...but he doesn't give it to me. He puts me on a boat and sends me somewhere...I have verified that I did complete Venta. I'm a sunspear general and all that...What do i do?
