whast up with this?

ok earlier today i was doing the Zen mission onm my sin, i had 2 purple armors and a gold armor drop for me! i was excited! after we beat the mission i ran to merch to buy an id kit, and when i id all 3 of them were runeless? they were all unidentified and all droped for me, had never left my possesion and i never salv them. i dunno what happened other than i got totaly jiped. and anet owes me some runes. anyone else had this happen to them?

I saw another thread about this yesterday. Don't know if they found a solution or not though.

I read another thread about this. Apparently it has happened to quite a few people. It's a rare occurence but it does happen, just bad luck I suppose.

Well before there was never such a item called plagueborn armor, On my factions monk I got a blue plagueborn that had a minor vigor... It seems like they just added it in and maybe forgot something? lol

i think it happens when you have the merchant window opened when you id/salvage something... im not sure tho

If that's true then I am very lucky. Which I'm not. So it isn't true

yeah it happened to me too......but later i got a runed gold in a later mission so i was happy:P

The problem could be with the addition of insignias.
You now have a chance of getting runes, insignias or both on any armor drop.
You may have had an insignia that you could have salvaged but no rune.
Or..
If the AI twitches it could cancel both out.........ouch!

There is another post about this. I have encountered that same thing on occasion. I am not sure if it is a glitch or what, but it does happen from time to time. It is dissappointing when it happens. I think that the new system where the higher your wisdom title is also affects what and if you get anything, NC-SOft has said that titles will play a bigger role in the game once Nightfall gets released.

All my armors had runes this weekend, blue, purple and gold. Collected quite a few for use on heroes.

this is most likely a bug that will be fixed quickley.... but don't expect anet to compensate you for the runes/insiginais you missed out on.

This happened to me a week or so ago in Factions. I forget what type of armor it was, but I do remember it was Purple.

"Unidentified" armor drops without runes has happened before and was a bug.

I suspect this is a bug that came with a recent update. You should report it (politely of course) to ANet.
