discontinued items/bone dragon check

hi all,

kind of new to trading, and i have been trying to sell 3 pets:

bone dragon (asking for 100k+15 ectos, best offer so far is just 100k)
charr shaman (asking 30k)
necrid horseman (asking 12k, best offer 10k)

the twist is someone was offering me a clay brick and ice in exchange for the bone dragon, and he claimed both items were discontinued. just wanted to verify that and maybe find out if that was a fair deal.

Clay bricks can no longer be crafted, but they are also worthless. Ice is a Sorrow's Furnace quest item and is still obtainable to my knowledge, but even if it is no longer obtainable (if the quest was removed) it would also be worthless. Don't be fooled by the old "it's a priceless collectable" scam.

thats kinda what i figured, thanks for confirming my suspicions. dude was like 'theres only 20 left in the game' (red flag #1: how the heck would he know exactly how man are in the game?).
