Bathazar's Factions, please remove cap

Yet again I have everything unlocked and I can't recieve any more factions for kills in PVP. I can't spend the Factions because there is nothing to spend it on, so my Factions earned have completly stoped. I have 365,000 of 395,000 spent and have 30,000 filled up with all items, heros, and skills unlocked and that number should be alot higher, but I seem to unock everything just to have all skill/items availible.

The reason why the factions are low is because I unlock stuff quick and can't earn any factions. Yes, I have all 3 chapters and i'm rank 8. I want to continue to gain factions even though i'm maxed unlocked.

THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT, I can't earn any more factions because I have unlocked everything!

We should be able to turn 10,000 faction into 1k. I mean, it's not much but it's 100% more than what we can do now.

Well think of yourself as lucky cap was 10k and now can be increased, if you want a higher cap go get some new pvp titles.

you either dont have all 3 chapters or done everything in PvE, and if you did then dont think why pvp matters so much to you.

Just let people convert faction into gold. You won't be able to hoard it for next chapter, but you'll be able to get something useful out of it. Just make the conversion rate low, like 10k --> 1 plat or 5k --> 1 plat at most, so it would only appeal to people who have nothing better to do with it.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna go and play HA until my face is blue, so I can get 5000 fame for my next rank and faction cap increase.

Nothing is wrong with unlocking everything in 5 minutes. Unlocks are not a reward that should be "earned".

Remove the cap, yes but that's not enough.

You need to be able to unlock Fissure armor and weapon skins with Balt faction. And exchange Balt faction for shards. Both of which have been suggested millions of times on this board.

Or he started in PvE and moved to PvP later on, like a lot of people including myself.

That's fine, as long as you give the deer emote track to anybody who has a title, and a phoenix emote to anybody who has a max title, even a PvE title.

Not very fair, is it? Giving a Phoenix Emote to somebody with Explorer of Cantha would take away the meaning of the emote, wouldn't it?

Well, Fissure Armor is the symbol of high accomplishment in PvE. That is ALL it is. A symbol. Just like emotes are a symbol of high accomplishment in PvP. I hope they never take emotes away from PvP exclusivity, but in exchange, it is only fair the serious PvE players have their exclusive armor.

What we need for Balthazar Faction is a repeatable reward. Something like Faction for Gold... a reward that can be recieved over and over again unlimited amount of times. What if Fissure Armor is made available? That will solve everything, right? No it won't. People will still unlock everything within time. Then they will need more things, to the point where there IS nothing more. Giving more unlockables wont solve anything except for delaying the problem. The only solution is a repeatable reward so that Balthazar Faction never loses it's use.

Maybe "cap" was the wrong word. The real problem is that I can't get any more factions because I have unlocked everything. For the people who still don't understand... I don't get any more Balthazar's factions! If I play for a week staight in HA, GVG, and TA/RA the 365,000 spent of 395,000 earn will not go up or down. I just want the "earn" to be corrected, so I can earn them. That number acually should be almost double than it is, but I like to unlock everything to save time when playing with a specific builds in PVP. Hope that clear this up.

Some of us still dont get what you're on about though. I have well over 1,000,000 faction and I still haven't unlocked everything. If you're saying that you've bought the PvP editions, it will shed some light as to why you have unlocked everything with such a low amount of faction.

I dont mind the cap factions, but give me something to do with the factions. I have over 1 mil and have everything unlocked my cap stayed at 35k for a long time now.

If the question is how I unlock stuff, it is because I have 1 account and 11 slots. 10 for each profession in which I try to pvp with (I enjoy PVE also and dislike the rerolling process although it is 200% better now) or if the circumstance calls for it, I have the 11th slot for pvp use. My Necro went and capped all the elites for the title and so that I can have elites available in PVP. When each chapter (Factions & NightFall) came out I bought all the skills for there specific profession using platinum and skill points thus unlocking the pvp side. I didn't buy a skill pack.

I really think I was screwed on this, why should I be penalized for being UAX? It didn't really matter before to much, but now you get benefits for having "spent factions" and to put it bluntly makes me look very inexperienced because my factions are low.

The reason I like to be UAX should be obvious. I don't like to be in the situation where I need a skill and don't have the factions to unlock it (This happens so much).

That's not a penalty... Balthazar Faction was made so that people could unlock everything without playing PvE. You unlocked everything WHILE playing PvE. They only put Balthazar Faction into the game to help PvP players unlock stuff... so it's not a penalty... UAX is the reward and you have it. Think about it like this... what if you learned a skill from a skill trader then did the skill quest? You aren't being penalized for knowing the skill... it's just that you already have the reward.

The plural of faction (points) is faction.
Cry me a river. There's a cap for a reason. They don't want you getting UAX on a preview weekend.
There should be a faction sink IMO. 1000 faction for 100g would do nicely for me.

You missed the point, OP doesn't want faction cap removed or raised, they just wanted to be able to earn more faction so it shows up that they have earned it.

Ie. they are at max limit, but any more balth they earn is just counted as pre spent, or even un-spent. That way their total balth faction gained still increases, and you still get your nice little golden +10s ^^


Although this is such a minor thing, UAX is the important thing. However UAX these days have become less of a measure with the intro of PvP packs.

I think what people are saying is, is to go earn a higher faction cap if you want it to count that you've gotten more faction. I know what you're trying to say, but who cares? Get better PVP titles for more space if you want to up that title.

u wanna earn more faction, get more fame, get some glad points, go get some championship points.
