delete/re-create character. Can I use armor?

After the winter's day event I would like to go for survivor title. I wish to use my current character because I have fow armor for him. Can I delete "Ryakk the Slayer" (leaving all armor and weapons in storage) the re-create "Ryakk the Slayer"? Will I start at level 1 again in presear and still be able to use my armor? Do I have to have another character created to keep the account active thus keeping my items in storage?

You cannot use the armor. Please don't delete your cgaracter with fow armor lol.

The Armor is linked to the character itself, not just the character name.

Even if the name is the same you cannot equip customized items. That would be any weapons and especially your armor. Good thing you asked here first, huh?
