MiniPets that pick up drops
xis10al
Give my minipet the ability to pick up drops for me, even just gold would be most helpful and help make minipets useful in some fashion.

Have been suggested before i think, but /signed anyways.

They're not going to make minipets have ANY advantage in PvE.

It's not really an advantage. It just .... makes you not have to click on something.

it is an advantage, if you party wipes and you have a drop, your pet would pick it up. or if its gonna wipe and you wont get to an item

This makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever, for so many reasons.

We don't need the following:
1. Mini pets to pick up items (fetch me that ecto boy....no...wait....stop scratching yourself)
2. Having minipets attack or be an addition in combat. I can see it now: my mini hydra casing a mini phoenix spell.
Mini Phoenix--A fiery phoenix rises at your location, striking adjacent foes for1...3 fire damage, and flies out to your target, exploding on impact. This explosion strikes for an additional 1...3 fire damage.
3. Mini pets to fight each other (insert gay Pokemon joke here and then laugh profusely)
4. Minipets that do things other than just standing there and making noises, and doing what a minipet does (nothing - pretty self explanatory
I like to think of mini pets similiar to like baseball cards. You get them, you take them out and look at them for a little bit, you put them away for what seems like forever, and occasionally you'll pull them out again.

I like the idea but it would make it much easier to farm with bots. And doing that would not be worth the meager bonus of not having to pick stuff up.

I think mini pets should give the palyer extra damage, faster casting, quicker attack, all diffrent add on skills per character per pet. I dont care how cool a mini pet looks if they dont do anything im not paying $5mill for the rarest pet out there. and yess i did see a pet on guru auction go for 5.2M
paying even 50k for a pet should do someting for your character. like a hydra should amp a Ele's Fire damage.

It could be a magnet for a minipet.
A talking magnet that says 'I pick up for you master'. 'Here ye go'.
