i need help on this build, i made it today but it kinda doesnt work against hp-dgen skills.

Mo/any

req

8 healing prayers

13 smiting

10 divine favour

so far this is my pvp char and as i am a noob i didnt get supmonk runes

skills:

Mending 10nrg 2sec -1dgen energy

Watchfull Spirit 15nrg 1sec -1dgen energy

Holy Wrath 10nrg 2sec -1dgen energy

Retribution 10nrg 2sec -1dgen energy

that is -4 energy dgen which means u can only use signets=
my choice:

Bane signet 1sec 20sec recharge 52dmg

Signet of mistic wrath (awesome) 2secs 20sec recharge 551dmg(max)

enough to kill a powerfull tank

Signet of judgement (elite) 2sec 20 sec recharge 67dmg to foe and all adjacent

Signet of rage or Ressurection signet

Also, I pretty much hate all superior runes, so you really don't need to bother unlocking them.

The top four skills are terrible, the others are okay-la. No need for sup runes, but go for +health.

If you're using 4 signets, consider going Mo/Me for Mantra of Inscriptions. Even with minimal investment in Inspiration, it will lower your recharges considerably.

What are you trying to do with this build is it for farming or group purpose?I would suggest the boon signet and for degen any type of hex removale.

If you are going to throw builds up, you best develop a thik skin, especially when they are quite radical and different.
That being said, I think this is more an interesting idea, something to try out, play around with, I wouldnt want to try monking PvP with this, something I have done a bit of.
You defintitely get props for creativity.

I run a build pretty close to this but for farming agianst undead mostly....never tried it for pvp but if you are having problems with hp degen skill throw on purge sig....Plus as pointed out SoMW will not spike as much as you would like....pretty sure this is a great farm build...(with some tweeking)...dont understand why your divine favor is that high and your smite and healing that low...but dont really think it would work in pvp all that well.

Reviving considerate old thread is ftw.
Anyway, Signet of Mystic Wrath is a skill with a great potential. I tried to make a smite build out of it (I hate supporting with my monk, leave me alone ='(, it's not my fault people always blame me when they die >< )
One problem is where am I going to find 3~4 random enchantments along the Monk and Mesmer (Mantra of Inscription ofc) tree that actually helps with my Smiting. I read the skill wrong the first time and thought it was MAINTAINED enchantments... was going to go Strength and Honor to buff some people up but my dream was crushed abruptly -.-
I don't think Mending + Guardian will make anyone happy -.-
Keep in mind that I am NOT tanking.

problem is finding serveral useful enchantments to cast on yourself, personaly i prefer to leave it out of my builds and use something normal :/
i did try aswell hehe
