Either way it's simple as hell, just put the current amount of fame needed for each rank that we have into a calculator list and then have it make the equation for you. Takes 2 seconds I believe.

Eh, more complated then that Mourne. You do have to properly figure out what form the equation is in (linear, exponential, power, etc) before a TI-83 or 89 calculator can do it. That requires a bit of guess work and knowledge of mathematics.

It tells you how much fame you'll need for the ranks after the one you're on with accurate results. Would you like it if I didn't tell you how much money you needed to upgrade things in life? It doesn't really give you an advantage of any kind...right?

Rank DOES matter in GW. Saying that shows how ignorant you are to PvP. Imagine being r12, getting into any high end team you want. Then, imagine holding halls for hours on end, collection sigils and some rare items. I garuntee, if you have a high rank and if you play halls as much as you play PvE you will get lots o' moolah, all because your high rank got you into a good group.
