Does anyone know what this inscription means? I saw it on a tormented staff, but I can't find out what it means. But I really hope it's something good, otherwise that tormented weapon would not be at all worth what it takes to get it. Primarily because the other stats are just average, and the staff isnt even that great looking. It looks like a purple and longer version of a gordacs needs. Unimpressive. So Im really hoping that inscription is something very special.
Also, can you change inscriptions at will without any chance of destroying the weapon?

Ok, first, there are not, and probably never will be any special overpowered inscriptions for weapons.
Second, all weapons (except bows) in GW are the same if they are max. The only difference is what they look like.
Third, you can ALWAYS 100% GUARANTEE overwrite an inscription. This means the following:
1) Take new inscription.
2) Put it on new weapon.
3) End Result: You lose the old inscription that was on the weapon at the start, but now it has what you wanted it to have.

My only issue is they look pretty boring, in my opinion of course. Now I havent seen them in person outside of the tiny preview, but I just dont get what's so elite about these weapons. Do they do anything really cool like sparkle or something to make them worth either the incredible amount of work involved in getting one, or the incredible amount of money you would need to pay if you were to buy one. There has to be something that makes them special, otherwise I can't see how too many people would work so hard for them.
I'm sure the fact alone that their so difficult to obtain is enough to make them desirable to some people, but I'm just speaking from my perspective. For me to invest the time required to get one of them, it needs to either have superior stats, or looks. We already know it wont have superior stats. So it better look hot! And again, from that little preview, it looks like a purple version of weapons ive already seen.

They're basically the weapon equivalent of Obsidian Armor- semi-fancy-looking equipment that's mainly for bragging rights. While some of them look neat (I'm particularly interested in seeing the shortbow and shield), it's mostly there as a long-term goal for hardcore players.
Of course, since there aren't even any confirmed Tormented weapons yet, I can't say what they look like- maybe they transform you into an Avatar of Glint or something They seem to be made of the same material as the Margonites, with the purple bits being that glowing energy that makes up part of their bodies.
(By the way, there's already a substantial thread on the Tormented weapons here).

Not sure exactly what you mean, but their available in the anguish area now from an NPC. They have multiple weapons for each class. Some have inscriptions, some just say "none".

It's "just" for bragging rights, and if you don't like how they look, then you probably wouldn't want to take the time to get them, which is now reduced to (assuming 3 hours per area, 1 gem from the quest and 1 from the chest at the end) (60/2)*3 90 hours of gameplay to get sixty gems. That's also assuming you get zero drops, so it might not take quite that long.

90 hours is just insane for a weapon. But it's a cool addition for those with a lot of free time on their hands.
