Don't Nerf DoA

I personaly like Sorrows Furnace better. DoA went overboad with the massive spawns of enemies that require a cooky cutter approach to even try to beat it. Truly unfair o the average player who doesn't have several hours to waste for what adds up to nothing special. I'm sorry I will stay in SF, UW and FOW.

/signed.......meh, I'm not a heavy PvE fan either way anymore. I went a maybe 5 or 6 times with pugs (Guildless).......and we got the first couple mobs on the City quest at most before it got out of hand. Make the Rit hero available to everyone at an accessible place like the Temple of Balthazar.......seeing as Ritualists are as useful as the common housepet.
Just give it time before The Spearmen come to nerf the place

edit - spelt spearman wrong..go fig

Funny how many people signed without even trying it. It's also pretty telling to look at the signature.
Mostly just monks, warriors, eles, and a few rangers. Where's the Dervish support???

That was one of the biggest threads ever to hit Riverside non-nerf-related, and that's saying something. So I don't know where you get that idea from, but it was definitely asked for. And as for it being restricted, if by "restricted" you mean if you don't know how this game works you can't win, then yes, it's restricted, because you have to actually, you know, lern2play in order to get anything done down there.

Players requested endgame content. They did not request an elite mission. There is a huge difference between the two. |

Honestly, if you want the DoA toned down, you should probably either stop sucking, or realize you're a casual player.

Now the reasons it needs nerfed are very clear. If you have .01%-1% of the populace playing there at any given time, joy the fun of that getting a group. Right now theres a good 15% people there and its only 1.5 dists almost all the time. And it not fun in the slightest. I do happen to like to get PUGS occasionally whether or not they are a perfect group or not. And wait till you get to mallyx.

I want DoA nerfed because Anet like to nerf PvP maybe they should give pvers are hard bash. Maybe reduce the party size and add heroes it what Anet should do.

well, tbh, i was quite dissappointed in DoA, i was hoping for an area that was hard to beat, but possible to beat with various builds, mostly involving tactics to succeed.
oh well, guess that just means i won't have to bother with some pve after all

/signed. The more difficult you make PvE areas, the better. Many of us enjoy "impossible" challenges, so we can show that they are possible with enough practice and effort.

GW should have at least one area where the fanaticals can go. DoA is it.

Not A Fifty Five
The problem I have with DoA is the err7s. I'm stuck on foundry now due to the obscene length of it, and like 5 of the 7 times I've tried it, we had too many lagoutsd to continue. You cannot finish something like foundry with 6 people. Now foundry has two quests. The first getting to the prisoners, the second rescuing them. If this was split into two parts, the chance of a double lagout would be highly diminished.
For those that completed these quests with an average of 2.5 hours per quest, good job on afk farming lightbringer to 8.

People have been asking for FoW and UW nerfs for a long time. It never happened so I don't think it will happen to DoA.
Only thing I do disagree with is the number of gemstones needed. Really its insane. You are talking about 3 mil for each weapon at the current prices. Since there is no faster way of getting gems that price will most likely not change. More than likely it will go up as more people learn how to do DoA and the creates more demand.

"Dood theres liek, no 1 in d1! Wtf fix da zone pls so i can make a groop!"
...
Urgoz' Warren. Really that's all there is to say to that.
"Zomg it's so crazy, ecto is impossible to get, Aatxes kill me in one hit, FoW is too expensive, fix it please!"
....
Yea, they didn't change that either. People just learned to play.

you know what? I hate DoA.m I think it's lazy design to simply increase the number of mobs, increase their level, then top it off with extremely overpowereed skills and "environmental" effects that somehow the mobs ignore altogether. it's shoddy, lazy, and I honestly NEVER want to return to it.
/signed. If people enjoy it, and actually want to play in an environment where the game gets to break every game rule, then fine. Great for them.
BUT: remove Razah from DoA. He should never have been put there to begin with. Let the "elite" few get their armbraces of truth, cut out everyone not running the exact same cookie cutter build in the exact same way just to finish the areas (if they get through without err7, that is.) I'm Ok with that. But bring Razah out of DoA. The elite get their area to play in, a challenge that some people seem to find fun, and some (from that the shield looked like) really cool skins for weapons and armor. Meanwhile, the player who thinks DoA is a horrible miscarriage of intelligent game design can get Razah and go do something more fun for them. SF, run characters through other campaigns, bang heads off the wall, whatever.
