Disconnect and inch from completion..

Argggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggh, this is a vent, a rant and general bpm session (b*tch p*ss and moan).. I am not blaming GW etc just bemoaning my luck.

Doing a mission on noob island and an inch from completing. (blacktide mission). I was taking my time to get thru all the mobs etc, and right at the end, after finishing bonus first, I see final objective walk up, my hardrive goes nuts and you got it.. lost connection..

Just shoot me.. 3rd time trying today.. took an hour last attempt.. and poof..

Going on SOD mission now, (Search and destroy) killing everything that moves..

And in the time it took you to make this post....

You can have done the mission again and completed it.

Really now its such a simply mission, if you done it 3 times now your doing something wrong

I was not complaining about gw, the mission etc.. just the disconnect (which is life online we know they happen). I do not use maps or cheats I do it the old fashioned way, by myself trial and error.

This only proves that reconnects are a very much needed feature not only for top level competetive play and elite pve zones like DoA but to all casual low level players aswell. End the frustration, Anet! We're waiting 20 months.

Try getting disconnects after HOURS spent on a quest in DoA.

Now THAT is true Anguish.

I have actually hit f2 out of habit when reaching a difficult area. (old time gamers might remember f2 was the usual macro to save your position in the game).

That said I doubt a save feature is doable. It would need to be client side and therein lay the problem. If they make it client side then 5 seconds after it was added live, the script kiddies would be trying to hack it to add 50 mil in gold etc.. Many things we'd like to see are possible but the lil theives ruin it for all.
