Yes, that's a photograph of our mascot amphibian.
Froggie -- properly named "The Frog" -- has homes in Lion's Arch, Shing Jea Monastery, and now Kamadan. He usually shows up in Kamadan these days, although I hear tell he paid a late-night visit to Shing Jea a couple of months ago and the folks there had never heard of him and were pretty freaked out.
The thing about Froggie is that he is a Frog of very few words, so he often surprises people when he starts talking and he's often napping when people speak to him.
The Frog is a native of Tyria. He talks about his birthplace being near Lion's Arch, and the first of his "domiciles" that we knew about was in LA. But over the last year, he moved a couple of times -- all to greet incoming players, I suppose -- and now he maintains homes in three places and apparently braves the ocean journey (he gets terribly seasick, poor dear
) in order to go to those other spots when he's not in his main digs in Kamadan.
I noticed today that Froggie is still wearing his stylish Halloween hat. He was so tickled to get that little headpiece, I don't see him willingly giving it up. I'm wondering if he'll be decked for Wintersday -- surely the little guy would love that!
