Skill Balance Suggestion: Searing Flames

Hey there,

I have an Idea how to change Searing Flames in a way that the Skill is still useable and not too overpowered.
My Thoughts on the other suggestions:
If you add exhaustion the Skill is dead. I think the Skill is made to use it twice in a row and if you add Exhaustion or a higher recast the idea of the skill is misunderstood. Also the Damage is ok as it is by now. It's the same damage Fireball and Rodgort cause.
The Problem is the spam over time and the range and the synergy of the new skills liquid flame and glowing gaze.
So my Idea is:

Change the range of burning from "nearby" to "adjacent"
decrease the burning time from ..7 to ..5

Also nerf the synergy skill liquid flame:

Also change the range from "nearby" to "adjacent"
and increase the mana cost from 10 to 15.

This changes seem not to big but I think with this changes you have to work with your mana managment. Good players can still use the skill effective and you can't spam the three skills all the time in a row.

Hope that some people share my opinion to work on the mana managment and spamming instead of the effective damage the skill was made for.
