I see all your comments.
who cares, its only an add. blah, blah, blah.
Thats not the point. I don't mind adds. I don't mind WoW.
My problem is, it is not just as add it hi-jacks the entire page. Not a small add in the corner. The ENTIRE WEB page is take over. If I hit the back button it dosn't take me back to my previous page it takes me back to the Forum home page. I don't even have to click trying to get to the next page I wish to see. I can be idle for a few minutes and the WoW page will just appear and take over much like a popup.
Please don't tell me its only an add. I work in the IT field and I know what an add is and what a web page hi-jack is.
Besides you are not answering my question.
I asked if anyone else experienced this. I didn't ask what your opinion is. I am trying to determine if perhaps I have a cookie, cache, registry setting or something I need to find and delete to prevent this. If no one else has this problem then that helps me determine it is a problem on my side. If others have this problem it could be a problem on the guru server.

I'm pretty sure that problem is on your end.
Maybe you clicked the ad by mistake or you have spyware running around on your computer.

Spyder, I know exactly what you are talking about. As I stated before, it's an ad. It puts the Warcry WoW forum page as a frame in your browser. Again, it's because you are not logged in when that happens and it's considered an ad as it's an interstitial. In the top right corner you'll see an option to "Skip this Ad" in a yellow box. Or just Log in to the forums and you won't see it anymore.

I never saw an fill up my whole screen before. Kind of surprised. They're getting rather popular at many sites.
The entire cnet entertainment network sites use them, GameFAQs, mp3.com, GameSpot, Metacritic, and then I'm pretty sure IGN, GameSpy, and FilePlanet do as well.
Definitely surprising and annoying to encounter for the first time though.
