If you go to Heroes Ascent and just sit in observer you will see that 95% of HoH battles are won with Seering Flames, Sandstorm, etc. All new elementalist skills. There is no such thing as balance in HA anymore. Almost every battle consists on which team can drop their meteors first. No monk can heal through it. Now of coarse there are some groups that have found a small fix. they use healers boon and a paragon to fuel itf or one example. But as most people agree it is boring to play even though it gives you fame. All im saying is that the game is currently very unbalanced and Heroes Ascent is suffering from it. In my opinion 8v8 was so much more rewarding and fun but with these new skills currently going back to 8v8 would be worse. My only suggestion is change the maps in Heroes Ascent. the battles last 1 min on average simply because there is way to much AOE damage and not enough room to spread out. Thats part of the reason ele teams have a huge advantage. I like to play balanced teams and im sure the majority of others feel the same. Please fix HA.

Nightfall was released. People are using the new skills. That's not unbalanced, it just means that the best builds changed, and you didn't change with them. HA hasn't been about balanced teams for more than a year; even the "balanced" teams made to counter IWAY were just compilations of different forms of warrior hate. Gimmick builds always rule there, if you're not used to it by now, I don't know what to tell you.

Personally, i'm willing to give A-Net time. We've barely had any skill balances because the season JUST ended. A-Net always does the skill balances right before the next season starting - meaning not yet.

let's wait and see what happens...

LOL

going against Iway, Vim = free fame if your balanced. My defenition of balance requires a wide variety of skills and the right players and tactics to go with them. Imo Iway was never a problem because it is totally predictable. And yes seering flames and other "new builds" based upon New skills can be beat. But you have to run a very defensive build to counter it, and that becomes very boring. Your saying that gimmick builds are the best thing in the current meta but I think most would agree that a balanced "guild" team or team of friends beats any gimmick. Which 9 times out of 10 is run by pugs.
