Measure for measure?

I used to get a bunch of these on dropped items...I haven't seen them for a couple of months now! Did Anet do something to the 'measure for measure' inscriptions?

Short answer is no. But I cant see how youve been getting them for months.

I get them all the time...Even more so the last week actually :\

Also theres a very good reason you haven't seen these for months, since they were only added to the game on November 7th - just alittle over 1 month ago

I just got one yesterday...or the day before. I have 2 in storage waiting for the right item to come along for them.

I have no trouble finding them. I suppose you've been unlucky, although there are worse things to be unlucky with than that particular inscription. :P

Is there a particular region where they seem more likely found (from drops)?

I seem to find them more often early in the game, particularly Istan. I can't be certain though, it might be completely random. I believe inscriptions might be random with area or level of enemy having no influence on which type you get, and since you could steamroll through Istan and kill a lot more enemies than you could in a high-level area, you'll probably find more blues and purples, thus increasing your chance to find M2M. That or just buy them from people, I can't imagine them being particularly expensive.

Thanks Muk I have an ele to get through Istan, so that'll be a good chance to try it out and see if I can get a few of MfM inscriptions.

I farm the Spiders outside of Rilogn Refuge (that ones that spawn with Fastfoot) and I'd say I get 2-3 of them atleast before I break to prevent farmcode.

I had a gold ruby hammer drop yesterday. I didn't know you can use measure for measure on it to salvage the ruby. I merch the thing. {bangs head on cleaver}

Farmed in Istan yesterday with my sorta new ele...no MfM. If I didn't know better, I'd think I held the "Unlucky" title...ROTFL.

If you are really in need, I could give you a few to tide you over. Ive got more than I know what to do with on my mule

Honestly I have like 20...

I think I have about 10 of these sitting on one of my mule characters. I found most of these while working on my cartography title. Of course, now that I have a ton of these inscriptions, I can't find any inscribable jeweled weapons to apply them to. So no rubies or sapphires for me.

I'm confused here, I just got a set of jewelled daggers with the measure for measure inscription on them. How do I use that to salvage a jewel?
