Everyone says "Anet, I want this" or "Anet, we should have that". I want to know what Expansions of ingame services would you PAY for. Personally, I would pay for...
*Additional Account Storage... I would throw down the cost of a couple of value meals to store more items. If Anet would charge like $5 to access a 'type' of storage (keys, dyes, char-linked for armor & weapons), I would plunk down more change.
*Auction House... Why hasn't Anet done it? Resources. If Anet had more in$entive to invest time into designing the system and putting up the servers, I think it would be done. I'd pay $10 easily for that.
*Major Patches to Existing Chapters... I would have easily payed $10 for all the updates to the Prophacies chapter - Sorrow's Furnace, then Ruins of Tombs (not quite extra content) - I'd even pay to invade the Charr homeland and give them a taste of their own medicine! $10 for access to more Realms of the Gods? Why not?
*Special Account Features... A package of features we have been waiting for: Auto-locate, AI editing (for heros and hench), "Favorite" towns list (more chapters = more map, then map again to get somewhere), more customisable armor, changing char style after creation to that of new chapters - I wouldnt pay a whole lot for that, but add on a few more features and I might skip McD's tonight.
What would YOU pay for?
-No flames please
-Stay in the boundaries of what you would for ouside of additional chapters
Put your $ where you :D is...

paying money for in game features is for games like everquest not Guild Wars. I like Guild Wars because it is a relatively inexpensive way to enjoy a good game. Want to know their incentive? Selling games. The better they make the game, and the more improvements they make, the more they sell. They hit 3 million recently due to their devotion to the players. That's all the incentive they need imo.
What's with it an so many noobs wanting to pay monthly fees? Are you that damn stoopid? I bought Guild Wars because it was a one time purchase and skill based. Both of those things are slipping away, and if you want to pay a monthly fee, then get the hell out of here and play world ofuxin warcraft.
