Bigger Better Phoenix

I wish Anet allowed Rangers to take those huge Elder Phoenixs at the end of Factions (to either side of the Emperor Kisu) as pets, or allows some method to upgrade existing pheonix's to the Elder Phoenix skin.

I'd pay 500k to upgrade my Phoenix skin in such a fashion.

I think it would be better if they just made it so that regular Phoenixes (and all other Canthan pets) grew as they leveled, like the Tyrian and Elonian ones do.

I agree entirely with this as well. I don't understand why they diverged from this practice in Factions. It makes no sense.

However, if they'd like another money sink, letting people buy those Elder Phoenix's would be a good one. They probably could even make it expensive in the mold of Fissure Armor.

I didn't really like the phoenix as a pet.. So I couldn't be bothered really ^^ If they make it so that it will fly (and I mean more then 1 feet from the ground, kinda at head hight or something..) Then I would be interested

I hadnt noticed any difference in sizes myself between those NPC pheonix and the ones you can tame.

But having them grow as you lvl up would be nice, like other pets in Tyria.

But what about those who already own a pheonix like myself?

You mean they don't "grow" currently? I finally got around to leveling my phoenix to 20 recently... didn't take screens along the way though to compare sizes.
