Questions about NF

Hello All!

Well im very new to the game and alittle lost dealing with the expansions, is there a way to have a toon on NF and get to the main land of the first game? I have a friend that doesnt have the expansion but I don't want to give up my toon. Any help would be great!!!!!

If you buy the key code for prophecies and add it to your nightfall account then you can take your character there. The same for factions.

If you have two or more chapters linked to the same account, you can move your characters from one continent to the other(s).

Thanks for the info, still not sure if I understand linking them together. I do have the keycode and when I installed it it asked something about adding a key code. Was that it?

Yes, you want to add any new chapters you get to your existing account rather than create a new account. Once added, when you get to the port towns (Consulate Docks, Lions Arch or Kaineng) you can get a quest to go to the other ports that you have on your account.

For example - You own Nightfall. If you buy Prophecies, you have two options. Leave Prophecies as a 'stand alone' game, or link it to Nightfall. If you link them you can move your characters (after performing certain quests) anywhere within either chapter.

So if you own only Nightfall, and your buddy owns only Prophecies - your characters will never be able to meet.

Keycodes are just the security devices this game uses to verify ownership of the game, or allow you a trial-time for other chapters.
