ISO and Alternative to W/Mo in PvE

W/Mo have a bad rep in PvE and I was wondering if there was an alternative class combination for general use. Warrior/Dervish crossed my mind for Aura of Thorns + Aura of Sanctity, but then again that's two slots I most give to the secondary profession and more attributes I must split. I have other ideas that come to a similar crossroads.

Any suggestions?

W/A can use dash and signet of malice
W/Me can make a good use of long lasting stances from inspiration
W/R can use a pet (for fun, indeed, but I love my pig)
W/N can use plague touch to transfer conditions. Fun with self dealing condition skills

W/Mo's only good thing is the hard rez, but I'd rather play a rez signet.

Ah, I was not aware that the hard rez was the reason a lot of people run W/Mo. I have too many painful memories as a monk of some Whammo using rebirth on me in the middle of a fight...

Thanks for your insight.

[wiki]Mending Touch[/wiki] is the reason to run W/Mo.

I haven't ran W/Mo in PvE properly for ages now, even though I started out as one.
In fact, most of the time now, my builds are pretty much solely Warrior builds and don't take advantage of the secondary class' skills.
I actively try to avoid playing Wammo, and even go so far as to go W/Rt or W/P for the hard res.
Not as efficient, I know, but at least I'm not a bloody wammo!

But as Skuld points out, Mending Touch is VERY tempting...

Nope, sod it, my hero monks are there to deal with conditions and hexes, I ain't going back to wammo yet, and ya can't bloody make me >:E

Edit: BTW Skuld, be a gent and let me know how you do that skill link thingy; would be especially handy if you could tell me how to do it with the pretty skill icons too. I searched the whole site for buggrin' AGES the other day, and nowhere has any tips on how to do it

I'm running a W/A build at the moment it goes abit like this:

Attack - Attack - Attack - Energy Attack - Healing Signet - Dash - Shadow Walk

It might not be the best around but its really fun to play, you could also replace an attack with singet of malice if you dont trust your healers.

Argh, WTF, honestly, I spent about 45 minutes sifting through crap trying to find something like that before :E
I found info on what it was, how it works, everything but how to bloody use it.
