OH YES, I am soooooo going to miss the times where you have to spend 30 minutes to scrape a mediocre team together, after which 5 minutes in the game the first says "soz gotta go", after 10 minutes the second becomes AFK and the rest of the people with their cliche builds copied straight out of WIKI start to shout "j00 stupid n00b" to everyone after which everyone quits and you can start over.

With heroes you can choose between single player mode or team up with guildies, you can give heroes your own awesome builds instead of relying on people with highly unoriginal builds unattuned to eachother.

It could just be a cry of frustration, I know its been discussed to death, but really, do people just have to get a cheap shot in on the op?

I agree 100% Loviatar, that is exactly why I don't group any more.
Heros may not be perfect, but they are far superior to the average PUG.

I tried bringing up a valid point that PvP literally means player vs player. I think it is a shame that heroes are in HA not because I think they are hard to beat, though sometimes someone does make a good hero build, but because I go play PvP to get away from fighting NPC's and enemy AI. I want to fight real people.

I'm not an elitist, I rarely form ranked groups. When I do it is only because I know people who have the rank probably have gained about 200,000-300,000 faction and have alot of skills unlocked. I can get the build I need. I myself am only recently r5, which most of your hardcore PvP'er will call a noob rank

I just play PvE alot and like to get away from it sometimes, fighting heroes to me is the exact same thing as PvE which 99% of the time = boring when I'm PvP'ing.

The OP's attitude towards others in this forum and PvEers are what is sparking the responses, not his viewpoint on HA.

ANet is trying to get more people interested in HA. That's why they went to 6v6 and the inclusion of heroes is simply an alternative to the availability of henches. This has provided an opportunity for more people to get into HA. The people who have grown used to HA as it has been will of course be resistant to change. I don't HA much, but it's nice to know, that if I want to, I can hop over there and not have to wait forever just to get a team together. So, OP, if you want to leave, bye, but don't expect that there aren't valid reasons and viewpoints counter to yours.

Is hoh junk now? yes but as stated prior hopefully anet will fix. Also this has been discussed many times.

*ps lol at the ppl who think stuff like HoH is some 1337 pvp, go play a real PvP game (halo2, GoW, even cs is better). mmo battles/wars are fun and all but not worth getting a big head over*

I don't like 6v6, I don't like heroway. They're both incredibly annoying, but I've adapted. Some people don't care to adapt, that's fine. It doesn't mean they can't, they just don't want to.

That being said, posting a thread to say you're leaving isn't really necessary. It's attention seeking and that's it. If you wanted people to know you wouldn't be around anymore, all you needed to say is "I've decided to leave, if you want to reach me elsewhere blah, blah, blah" instead of "OMFG Anet you suck drama drama drama RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO".

When someone decides to post their opinion and it doesn't happen to agree with yours, you call them PvE nubshits. And people wonder why heroes are so popular in HA.

PVP with heroes is still PVP unless you figured a way to eliminate the player putting the heroway team together?

I don't see how this got to three pages. There are lots more threads about HA, and we don't allow "Goodbye Cruel Anet World" type stuff. Nothing personal, not attacking your claims, but we don't permit anyone to make these.
