For those of you who don't have NF, dervishes have elite forms call avatars that allow them to take on the form of one of the deities. While they are in that form, they get a number of bonuses for the duration.
What I'd like to suggest is that give their avatar skills a skill you can only use while you are in that avatar form. Meaning once the avatar is activated, it's spot in the skill bar is replaced by the skill that you can use for that avatar (and it should be elite quality). For example, balth might give you a powerful attack, Dwayna might give you a heal spell, or Lyssa might give you an interrupt spell or a hex of some sort.
Another suggestion would be that perhaps a few of the skills have alternate effects when you are in an avatar form. It shouldn't be many, maybe 3 change per form. So for example, some of your dervish healing spells get a little better with dwayna or any skill that has grenth in its title gets a boost when you are in grenth mode. I think this would be good because it would encourge people to build around their forms a little more.

People already build around thier Forms...
I don't know, this seems like it'd cause a bit of an even bigger rush to [wiki]Avatar of Grenth[/wiki] Dervishes. They are all quite powerful as they are... How do you propose to keep them balanced if they have even more abilities?

Would seem to be overpowered, your basically taking a perfectly fine elite...and adding another elite to it.

It's a long-duration elite that gives the character a big boost. To have it then chain-trigger a *second* ability you could use would be a little much in my opinion.
Should warrior elite stances be replaced during their duration with a corresponding ability? Perhaps the Flesh Golem could change into something else while you have a flesh golem in play? Or Elemental Attunement could change into a glyph while it's active?

I would rather see them weaken avatars and make them a permanent form rather than a skill with duration.

I would like to see avatars in towns.
/avatar of dwayna emote anyone?

Totally /signed for Avatars in towns. I wanna do the bark-covered Ranger dance in towns. /notsigned for changing the Avatars. I play a Dervish and know how broken it would be to buff Avatars any more than they already are. I would like to see some non-elite forms though.
Curse You
Dervish Forms don't need to be buffed. They're already powerfull, and can't be removed.
I think that there should be non-elite forms in the next chapter (seeing how they have assassin skills in Nightfall). They would propably be something small, like...um...Avatar of Warthog?

Avatars already have their unique skill integrated into their form. They don't need anything else.
