I am getting a laptop that has
- Intel Celeron M 420 Processor 1.60GHz
- 533 MHz FSB
- 1 MB Cache
- 512 MB RAM
- 60 GB Hard Drive
- Dual Layer DVD ReWriter MultiDrive
- 15.4" Widescreen Display

Well, your game won't run all that great, but you do meet the bare minimum requirements of 32MB Video, 256MB RAM and 800MHz or faster processor. However, since your video card is an integrated video card, and does not have its own 64MB memory (hence the "shared" part) your video card really is going to be unhappy about running the game and you'll have to crank every graphics setting down to be able to play decently.
You should be able to barely run Guild Wars on the lowest settings. I suggest you change the properties of your Guild Wars shortcut to say:
"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -dx8 -noshaders

how bad will it make it look?

it won't be terrible...or atleast mine isn't and i run an intel integrated graphics card...But you need to research a little to find out how to make your card always use the maximum amount of memory....Like for me I have to go to my video card properties and set the "memory footprint" to high....

Guild Wars will not run on the Via graphics chipset. I had the same chipset and GUild Wars would do nothing but crash. Also the savage chipsets are not supported and will not run Guild Wars either.
