The following is concerned for those with Factions only.
I was startled when Anet didn't give Kaineng Center any design for Halloween, but now that they can't have a Christmas?! Sorry, but I think that's just unfair, seeing as Tyria gets 3 towns decorated, I can't see why Cantha gets 0 decorated. I'm not ranting because I have factions only (I have all three), it's just that it feels unfair to Canthans.
Thoughts on the matter?

Cantha has the dragon festival which none of the others have. I think the only reason kamadan is included is beacuse its the "new chapter" Otherwise I think that wintersday is a Proph only thing.

And if I paid $60, I would want to get the wintersday event...It's just rude to not care for those who didn't buy all of your products.

where is this cantha? seriously, cantha is kinda left out, but does anyone really care? im just gonna try to get one of my characters through the game, get my ammy of the mists, and move on. factions, considered by alot of people, wasnt really that great. besides, asians dont celebrate xmas. ( i think)

Cantha is more like asian styled.I'm asian and nto all of us celebrate Christmas.Isnt the dragon festival and tengu day enough for cantha?Whilst NF is kinda african not sure if they do celebrate christmas

I think it's pretty safe to say Factions will be known as the black sheep of the Guild Wars family for many expansions to come. Compared to Prophecies and Nightfall it's tedious, laggy and frustrating.

The team, they are better, that made the Prophecies and Nightfall Chapters did not make Cantha so they only put Christmas in the chapters they made. The other team puts in their own events which will also be in chapter 4 if the pattern continues. Then you will say why did Nightfall and Prophecies get no love. LOL

That brings up a scary thought; the makers of Factions are currently working on Chapter 4.

The reason that different continents get different content is due to different religions. Tyria is loosly based on the USA, while Cantha is loosly based on China, Japan, and a couple other eastern countries. And Elona is loosely on Africa (specificaly Egypt) and the countries within the mideast. Due to different religions within each area NC-Soft nd A-Net must make a choice as to which continents get what. If you want all the fun then you will have to get each chapter, otherwise just settle for what is available to you on the continent that you have.

Within the eastern countries there are several different races if you want to pput it that way. The Japanese, Chinese, and Korean's all have similiar facial and bodily structure. The Indian's (not sure what else to call those from India), and Philipine's are similiar to each other. Then there are the Aboriginese from Austrialia, who are different from the others. I am not listing all the different races within the East but the ones that most people know of so this list is incomplete. This world has a diverse religious belief system in different areas and we all need to be tolerent of each.
