Metallurgist
Extraction skills: Hexes that remove effectiveness of armor and weapons, such as removing the effects of inscriptions, focus cores, etc.
Fortification skills: Enhancements that provide effectiveness to weapons and armor, such as adding temporary effects like those of inscriptions, focus cores etc.
Forging: Fire damage AoE attacks that trigger as you fortify and extract.
Primary Attribute: Blacksmith For every weapon effected by one of your enhancements, you gain X health and X energy -- skills sets would include additional bonuses in energy and health
This profession would be a cross between a weaken armor necro, a weapon ritualist, and a fire ele. I don't know, I thought of it last night while farming weapon mods.
Thoughts?

sounds like it might be a bit overpowered, having a sundering, vamp, zealous and elemental weapon might be a bit overkill no?
